Suno lyric checker
Safe fixes write out repeat shorthand like (x2), make every chorus before the last match the first one, and spell out numbers. Clichés and rhymes are yours to rewrite.

What it checks
The rules, and why each one matters.
Clichés and AI tells
Neon lights, shadows that dance, whispers, embers, tapestries. The words listeners hear as machine-written, flagged by line so you can swap in a real image.
Predictable rhymes
Fire / desire, heart / apart, night / light: pairs the listener finishes before the singer does, flagged when both land in the same section.
Lines too long to sing
Syllables per line against a singable cap. Overlong lines make Suno rush, swallow words or break the line in an odd place.
Chorus drift and verse shape
Every chorus before the last should match the first. A second verse should mirror the first one's shape, with new words.
Tags and endings
Bare [Verse] headers with no performance cue, shorthand like (x2) that Suno sings literally, directions in (parentheses), and a missing [End] tag.
Rhyme, hooks and title
Sections with no rhyme at all, pre-choruses that announce the hook, and, with a title, whether the chorus opens or closes on it.
FAQ
Questions people ask.
- Does it send my lyrics anywhere?
- No. Every check runs in your browser with code, not an AI model. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
- Why do my Suno lyrics sound AI?
- Mostly a small set of habits: abstract words nobody says out loud (neon, echoes, embers), rhymes everyone has heard, and lines with no physical detail. The checker flags each of them by line.
- Does Suno sing (x2) or repeat markers?
- Often, yes, or it skips them. Write every repeat out in full. The checker's safe fixes do it for you.
- What should a section header look like?
- A label and a performance cue after a pipe, like [Verse 1 | soft, close-mic] or [Chorus | full band, lifted]. End the sheet with an explicit ending such as [End | vocal alone, hard stop].
- Is a clean result a guarantee?
- No. Suno still rolls the dice. A clean sheet removes the things that reliably trip it up; the song still needs a real idea.
