What did Suno change?

Paste the prompt you wrote and the one Suno shows it used. See exactly what was dropped, rewritten or cut off, and the setting that stops it happening again.

Where to find what Suno used: open the song, then its details. The styles and lyrics shown there are what the model got, which can differ from what you typed. Nothing you paste here leaves your browser.

Paste both versions of the Styles, the lyrics, or both. The comparison runs as you type.

What it checks

The rules, and why each one matters.

Styles cut off

When Suno used only the start of your Styles, the rest never reached the model. Usually the mix notes and the ending, the parts at the back of a long prompt.

Styles rewritten

Phrases you wrote are gone and new ones appeared. That's what Variety above 0, My Taste and the Magic Wand do to a prompt before generating.

Words added

Suno kept your words and added its own, a genre nudge or a mood word, which can be enough to change the drums.

Lyric lines changed

Lines rewritten, dropped or added, shown side by side. Suno's lyric tools and some UI paths can overwrite what you pasted.

Section headers lost

A [Bridge | whispered, piano only] that became [Bridge], or vanished. Suno can't follow a direction it never sees.

New parentheses

Lines that gained a part in brackets: an ad-lib or a second voice you didn't write, which Suno will sing.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Why does Suno change my Styles?
In v6, Variety above 0 lets Suno rework your Styles before it generates, and My Taste and the Magic Wand add words of their own. For a final take, set Variety to 0, turn My Taste off and paste Styles as written. Controls move between releases, so verify them in your own composer.
Where do I find the Styles Suno actually used?
Open the song in Suno and look at its details: the styles and lyrics shown there are what the model got. Copy them into the second boxes here.
Why does Suno cut off the end of my prompt?
The Styles field takes about 1,000 characters, and the start of the field carries the most weight. Keep it around 800, with genre, tempo and feel first and the ending last but short.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The comparison runs in your browser with code. Nothing you paste is sent or saved.
