Tad AI is less talked about than Suno, Udio or ElevenLabs, but its pricing is easy to read. Its plans are counted in songs rather than abstract credits, and every plan, the free one included, comes with a commercial download licence.
What you get
- Free: 21 credits, enough for up to 2 songs.
- Standard, $7.99 a month: up to 50 songs.
- Pro, $23.99 a month: up to 200 songs.
Paid plans add reference-audio upload, premium voice models, advanced editing and AI style prompts. Bundled tools include covers, a stem splitter, a vocal remover, text-to-speech and music video. Tad AI doesn't publish a maximum song length or anything about its training data.
How Suno compares
Suno Pro is $8 a month billed yearly (about $10 month to month) for 2,500 credits and 20 song downloads a month, with commercial use for songs downloaded within that allowance. You get v6 and v6-wild, up to eight minutes a generation, Replace Section, Extend, Cover, stems, Voices and custom models. Premier adds Studio, 10,000 credits and 60 downloads.
The bigger difference is control. Suno's Styles field, cued lyric headers and Exclude list let you specify the drums, the bass, the vocal delivery per section and where the song ends. If you write detailed prompts, that's worth more than a bundle of utilities.
Who should pick which
- Tad AI: you want the most songs for the least money, a licence on every plan, and the extra tools (vocal remover, TTS, video) in one place.
- Suno: you want the song to follow a precise brief, longer arrangements, and editing that keeps the parts you like. Start with our v6 prompt guide.
